HOW TO CHANGE YOUR CARS AIR FILTER

Have you ever thought about the money you could save by simply changing your cars air filter? Many of us today find little time to take our vehicle after work and get the regular maintenance that they need. Things You'll Need:

• Possibly a socket set and screwdriver
• A rag to wipe out the air filters housing.

1. Step 1 Air Intake Hose

   The first thing we're going to do of course is simply lift up the hood to make sure it is secured.Normally the air filter housing is located
   to the right side connected to the air intake...this is most always the case on a fuel injected car.

2. Step 2 Air filter

   Some air filter housings may have a bolt or 2 connected to it or even a screw holding the cover down if this is the case on your automobile remove any bolts or screws that might be holding the cover in place.

3. Step 3 Air Filter Housing

   You will also have 2 clamps holding the cover down un-snap these and lift the air filter cover up some, pulling out the old filter. Take your rag and wipe out the air filter housing...after time this can get quite dirty so wipe it out gently making sure to clean your air filters housing really well since we don't want excess dirt and lint getting on your new filter when you place it back in.

4. Step 4 Air filter assembly
