How To Administer CPR
How To Administer CPR

Have you ever wondered what would you do in the event of an emergency? Knowing CPR can save a life possibly of someone you know and love. The basic technique for CPR has remained the same throughout the years but there is a simple method of remembering what to do when your called to save a life and this is the most updated version of that.I recently took another course in CPR in 2010 and this is what we learned. This article will teach you in a simple fashion how to perform CPR.

  1. Step 1

When administering CPR always make sure the person needing assistance is on a hard surface.

  2. Step 2

Listen to hear if they are breathing by simply putting your ear down to their nose. If they are not breathing tilt the head back clearing the airway. Make sure no foreign object is blocking the airway before you begin.

  3. Step 3

There is a simple number i learned that always helps me in remembering how many breaths and how many chest compressions. That number is 235.It's a simple way in which to save a life...say it over and over again in your head until your 100% sure you'll never forget it.

  4. Step 4

We're going to give 2 breaths while holding their nose and 30 chest compressions and repeat for 5 intervals until paramedics arrive. CPR is also the first step in saving a drowning victim.Great job you have done your part in saving a life.
